Discounted prices to lectures and programs
HPSO brings in speakers, both local, national, and world-class, to offer first-rate lectures on a wide variety of garden topics. HPSO also offers the Gen(i)us Series, a smaller-venue of programs that focus on a particular genus of plants, and also Garden School, a group of in-depth, hands-on workshops.

Visits to private gardens
HPSO prints an Open Gardens book each year listing dozens of members' gardens open throughout the garden season. All garden visits are free.

Bulletin and bi-monthly newsletters
HPSO publishes an annual bulletin with articles on various gardening subjects (written by members), and members receive bi-monthly newsletters to keep them up-to-date on the latest news and programs.

Discounts to local nurseries and other businesses
HPSO members are entitled to discounts of 5%-25% at dozens of participating nurseries.

Overseas tours at wholesale prices
HPSO offers affordable overseas garden tours. Past tours have traveled to England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Over 17 tours have been conducted to date.

HPSO conducts the largest and best plant sales in the Pacific NW, typically with over 120 nurseries and garden artists participating.
