The Rebuilding Center, a project of Our United Villages, a non-profit community enhancement organization, developed by dedicated volunteers and modeled after successful building material reuse centers throughout North America (over 500 in the United States and Canada). Friends of Portland Community Gardens, providing gardening opportunities for the physical and social benefit of the people and neighborhoods of Portland since 1975. There are 30 community gardens located throughout the city, developed and operated by volunteers and PP&R staff, offering a variety of activities.
