Garden School Workshop:
Creating a Woodland Treasure
Create a unique textural floral arrangement, inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Gather ideas to express your creativity and learn to work with natural materials found in your garden! This class will change the way you look at your own garden, our abundant landscape and the world around you. Begin with lichen-covered branches and moss. Mix in seedpods and berries, miniature fruits and vegetables, lush foliage, succulents, fragrant herbs and seasonal flowers to create a long-lasting, one-of-a-kind centerpiece.
Born in Belgium, where flowers are an integral part of everyday life, instructor Françoise Weeks trained with florists in Antwerp. She has translated her passion for nature and the garden into a distinctive, lush and textural style. She has educated students in diverse fields for the past 30 years, and has over 20 years experience in floral design. Sharing her techniques and helping students explore their own creativity are passions of Francoise. To view her work, go to Francoise Weeks European Floral Design.
