Since 1998, photographer, garden designer and long-time member Julie Maudlin has led one or more garden tours each year, as a volunteer, to destinations with wonderful gardens. These have included England, Scotland & Wales, Ireland & Northern Ireland, France, Italy and South Africa. She generally spends 2-3 years personally researching, planning and visiting the gardens before offering a tour. In 2006, Nancy Goldman and Jim Rondone began researching and visiting gardens and in 2008 led a tour to Netherlands, Germany & Belgium. Bruce Wakefield also led a tour in 2008, to Cornwall.
Trips last from one to two weeks, and are priced to represent good value for the money. They do not include airfare; participants are responsible for their own transportation to the meeting place abroad.
The tours usually fill up quickly; if you are interested, be sure to watch the Newsletter or the Home page of this website for announcements. You must be a member or be willing to become a member to sign on to these tours. Click on Photographs from past tours to view more photographs.
