HPSO Gen(i)us Program featuring Lorē Sampson It's nearly time to start planning for one of spring's most beloved flowers: the peony. Join Lorē Sampson of Rarity Gardens at this online event so you can select the best peonies for fall planting. Join Lorē as she shares everything you need to know including peony selection, flower forms, planting, propagating and care. In addition, Lorē will discuss how to use peonies as cut flowers including tips on storing peonies for later use in flower arrangements and competitive shows. Bring your questions and get ready to rediscover these incredibly beautiful and majestic landscape aristocrats! This is a Zoom presentation. Price is $5 for members; $10 for non-members HPSO programs are recorded and available for two weeks following the original presentation to all those who register for the programs. Registration open now: 2021 Genius: Rediscovering Peonies Lorē is a well-known member of the garden community in the Pacific Northwest. She and her husband Jim own and operate Rarity Gardens, a small perennial nursery specializing in hosta, daylilies and especially peonies. A nurseyman’s daughter, Lorē has been growing and propagating a wide variety of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants since childhood.
