Giving to HPSO

Your gift to HPSO makes a difference!

A charitable gift to The Hardy Plant Society of Oregon helps the organization achieve its mission of nurturing the gardening community through many educational activities for members, as well as through grants to schools and other non-profit organizations and through scholarships to horticultural and landscape technology students. A gift can also be made by just adding us to your Fred Meyer rewards program. You can find us under HARDY PLANT SOCIETY OF OREGON in their Community Rewards program when you log into their dashboard.

Gifts to The Hardy Plant Society of Oregon, a tax-exempt, charitable organization recognized by the IRS under 501(c)(3) organization, may be tax deductible. Gifts received without any designation are directed to HPSO’s Lucy Hardiman Perennial Fund.

Some gifts like those through a qualified charitable distribution, a donor-advised fund, or your estate are a longer conversation. If any of these cases apply to you, please do get in touch. Our Executive Director, Amy Coulter, would love to answer any questions you may have. You can email her at  [email protected] or call (503) 224-5734. Thank you!
