Amy Coulter

Amy Coulter, Executive Director

Amy brings 20+ years of experience as a small business owner and has been the treasurer of three nonprofit boards. She has also been a community leader, founding the South Portland Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET). She looks forward to bringing her creative problem-solving skills, expertise in the area of nonprofit financials, and passion for supporting volunteers to do the work they love at the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon.

In addition to her professional business background, Amy brings a love of community, education, travel, and gardening to the job. She tends a garden that strives to be an edible oasis with varying types of berries and trees that bear fruit throughout the summer.

Hayley Anderson

Hayley Anderson, Membership Manager

A fourth-generation Oregonian, Hayley grew up in Scappoose and has lived throughout the varied ecosystems of our state, from the rolling hills of Roseburg to the high desert of Bend. Growing up in a family of gardeners, Hayley was instilled with a love of plants that has stayed with her all her life. While she currently does not have space for a garden, she tends to what has been described by friends and family as "too many" houseplants. She is excited to connect with the members and volunteers who have made this organization great, and put her experience in communications, fundraising, and community outreach to work helping guide the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon to an even brighter future.
