HPSO Gen(i)us Program featuring Riz Reyes
"Beginning Your Cutting Garden"

Riz ReyesAn early fondness for fruits and flowers turned a young boy from the Philippines into an award-winning garden designer and avid plantsman in the Pacific Northwest.  Riz worked as a horticulturist for the UW Botanic Gardens for eight years at the Center for Urban Horticulture.  He is currently gardens manager for McMenamin’s Anderson School, in Bothell, WA and still maintains RHR Horticulture growing and designing gardens and cut flowers while also teaching and lecturing for various garden organizations and publications.

Enjoy fresh cut flowers, branches and foliage from your garden with a little spring planning and planting.  Learn which varieties are the easiest and most reliable for cutting and find tips on how to process and arrange flowers for long-lasting blooms in your home.

This is a Zoom presentation.  Price is $5 for members; $10 for non-members
