HPSO Garden Stories Program featuring Lois Moss
"Let's Explore Horticulture Treasures You Can Visit in Oregon, Washington, & British Columbia"

As we emerge from hibernation and quarantine, you might consider exploring some of the world-class public gardens, nurseries, display gardens and other horticulture treasures of Oregon, Washington and British Columbia.  During the presentation, Lois will share two online maps with nearly 200 horticultural places you can visit in OR, WA and BC. She will also go over how you can create customized maps for your own day trips or multi-day vacations.  The presentation includes photos and visitation tips on many of the public gardens and horticultural treasures that you can visit.

Lois MossAs a serial entrepreneur and dedicated volunteer, Lois has been involved in a variety of projects over the years, from accounting to bicycle retail to pedestrian advocacy to events-planning.  She relocated from Ohio to Oregon in 2010, expecting to glide into a peaceful retirement.  Gardening and horticulture caught her interest and she jumped in with both feet, serving as the HPSO Treasurer for four years and completing Master Gardener training.  She has organized and led 10 group tours and was focusing on highlighting the gardens of the Pacific NW before the pandemic shut down travel.  She loves sharing information with people and helping them explore places they might not know about, might take for granted, or might enjoy seeing again.

This is a Zoom presentation.  Price is $5 for members; $10 for non-members
